  • The Hasslers
    07-03-2015 : 10 pm

The Hasslers, a five piece rock outfit from Missoula, Montana, build songs around lyrics, but they don’t skimp on materials. Haunting lap steel ambiance meshes with wailing organ riffs, all behind a forefront of tight vocal harmonies. Recent winners at both the ZMA awards and Sean Kelly’s Top of the Mic contest, these kids embody the kind of small town pride you can raise a glass to. Genuine, hard-hitting, MT folk-rock, erudite pool hall rock, doesn’t matter what you call it, it’s fun to watch and it’s good to listen to.

The Hasslers won 1st prize in the 2012 Sean Kelly’s Top of the Mic Competition.
The Hasslers won a 2013 Zoo Music Award in the Folk & Singer/Songwriter category.

  • Rowdy Shadehouse
    07-31-2015 : 10 pm

Rowdy Shadehouse is an on-your-face, high-energy funk rock explosion erupting from Denver, CO. From revealing outfits, incredible musicianship, to suggestive stage props, this seven-person fireball never ceases to blow ladies and gentleman away. This band always guarantees an unforgettable show experience. Rowdy Shadehouse performances embody the mantra of funk and rock legends that have conquered stages and audiences before them. “This bare chested, tight wearing, fun loving, party provoking, and sex drive accelerating… band will blow your socks off.”(Listen up Denver!)

While Rowdy Shadehouse brings the obvious visual pleasures, the group’s musicianship is also stupendous. Each Rowdy musician’s background is distinguishably different from next; however, they come together creating a perfect combination of dirt and sparkle. “…the band pairs its perversion with some of the most technically proficient musicians around.” (Westword) The dance based rhythm section drive the funk heavy horns which fuel the “…funkiest guitar riffs to ever come out of Denver” to create a funk rock bed of music where the most exciting front man since Freddie Mercury and G.G. Allen will seduce you with his thrilling dance moves and raunchy lyrics. Rowdy Shadehouse creates a unique sound that is incomparable yet familiar. Rowdy’s credibility becomes more fortified by having shared the stage with many bands, including George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic, War, Slightly Stoopid, Blackalicious, Matisyahu, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Fishbone, and The Revivalists.

Since the August release of Rowdy Shadehouse’s debut album, “Say it Loud” (Available on CDBaby and iTunes), the band has gained more popularity locally and nationally, as well as across the globe. Rowdy has been packing and selling out larger venues in the Rockies and currently holds Reverbnation’s #1 Funk slot in Colorado, top 25 nationally, and top 40 in the world! Fans and critics agree Rowdy Shadehouse is not to be missed. “Going out to see live music is often an unpredictable experience, and every once in a while music fans are fortunate enough to witness an act that leaves you completely speechless and desperate for more. The Rowdy Shadehouse is the definition of that act.” (The Scoop)
